Brainrod.com Tournaments

We currently run two tournaments, a monthly standard event in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and a small weekly extended event in Pickering, North Yorkshire. This page is designed to provide information to anyone wishing to participate in those events. To join the mailing list, and receive regular updates about the main event in Sheffield, please send us an email.

Sheffield event info

Usually held on the second sunday of every month, the Sheffield event takes place in the attractive surrounding of Yates's bar in Sheffield city centre, where we have a private area. The venue has excellent transport links, with the train station about 15 minutes walk away and free parking round the corner in Rockingham St. car park. Doors open at the highly sociable time of 12:00 meaning you don't have to be up at the crack of dawn to attend!

Pickering Event info

Held every week at Pickering Wargames Club, the Pickering Extended event is an ideal opportunity to play this under-represented format in a casual environment. Pickering is also a nice place to visit, set in the beautiful North York moors. The event is held on Thursday evening (due to the Games Club being primarily aimed at the local school children) at 3:30 until 7:00.
